A six week introduction to the riches of Scottish literature from earliest times
to the present. The role of Edinburgh as a city of literature is an interweaving
theme, as is the role of Scots and Gaelic as well as literature in English. As a
novelist and storyteller as well as Director of the Scottish Storytelling Centre,
Donald Smith provides his own personal insights and enthusiasm. |
